"Lisa's warm smile made me feel at ease on an emotional day. If you are reading this and wondering which funeral director to choose then I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to you."

— sue rogers (about Lisa)

"Nikki guided and advised us during our initial meeting and was on hand for any queries before the day of the funeral. I honestly couldn't have been in better hands. She was caring, patient and clear in her communication, and I always felt listened to and supported. That meant a lot."

— Monika T (about Nikki)

"We decided on a service which reflected on dad's time in which he served in the Royal Navy during WW2 on minesweepers, and his coffin was draped with the Union flag accompanied by his medals which was very moving to see. The service from start to finish was faultless."

— Vince Ilott (about Lisa Parker)

"The wonderful Lisa at the Caversham branch talked us through every part of the process with such thoughtfulness shown to each and everyone of the family. She went above and beyond to help us — her kindness is something we will never forget."

— Gill Allen (about Lisa)

"I have no relatives. But it doesn't matter, because taking me to my final resting place are going to be people who really care. Thank you."

— Barbara Richards (about Lisa)

"On the night that my wife died, I rang Lisa as we had arranged. She was away but was still on call. She was so lovely to me... I was able to go to see Sue and Lisa had washed her hair and helped her to look her beautiful self. I was not at any point anxious about how things would be on the day of the funeral. I knew I was in the hands of Lisa and her team. I want to stress how at every step of the way, my deceased wife and myself were cared for with respect and dignity. This was real and genuine and I felt so loved."

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the support I received from the Caversham branch. During a very difficult and emotional time, the team made the whole process feel a little easier. I’d especially like to mention Nikki. I honestly couldn’t have been in better hands. She was caring, patient and clear in her communication, and I always felt listened to and supported. That meant a lot. Lisa was also very professional during the service. She had a calm, reassuring presence and handled everything with dignity and care. Thank you to everyone at the branch for treating everything and everyone with respect.

I wanted a family based firm to handle my wife's funeral. Miles & Daughters fit that requirement perfectly. The arrangements were flawless and all our friends and relatives commented on what a perfect event it was to celebrate her life. Lucie did a great job in co-ordinating the whole process from identifying the perfect Celebrant to producing a beautiful Order of Service and on the day their team was polite, efficient and caring. I would like to highlight the Funeral Conductor, Lisa, as she was of great support to the family after the event and spent time to talk to all the attendees and ensure that we wanted for nothing. Thank You

We chose Miles and Daughters in Reading to look after Dad's funeral having read the many positive reviews on their website. Lisa looked after us so well and offered us valuable advice, support and guidance. Lisa made us feel very comfortable as soon as we walked through the door: when discussing the arrangements she listened very carefully to the type of service that we wanted and she made some very thoughtful and appropriate suggestions. The funeral service was everything that we could have wished for and Lisa's warm smile made me feel at ease on an emotional day. Our family and friends were very complimentary about the warmth and empathy shown throughout the service by Inger and the whole day went very smoothly for which we are very grateful. If you are reading this and wondering which funeral director to choose then I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to you.

It's never easy losing a loved one, but the level of service & attention to detail we received when we recently had a cremation for our beloved Dad was second to none. All of the people we met & dealt with from Miles & Daughters (Caversham branch) conducted themselves impeccably and made our experience as pleasant & stress free as possible. My brother & myself had an appointment with Lisa Parker to arrange the cremation, & we were treated with superb professionalism & compassion. We decided on a service which reflected on dad's time in which he served in the Royal Navy during WW2 on minesweepers, & his coffin was draped with the Union flag accompanied by his medals which was very moving to see.The memorial service cards we had done were also very well produced & showed that a great deal of thought had gone into there production. The service from start to finish was faultless and the celebrant Sarah Sealey gave a very moving eulogy which was well received by family & friends.Lisa kept us well informed with emails and phone calls but never intrusive & just gave us that extra feeling that everything was under control & any queries were dealt with swiftly & efficiently. To sum up we would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Miles & Daughters based on our experience. Thank you.
