The love, care, respect and dignity with which they handled our two lost babies could not have been greater. At an acutely painful time of our lives, Paula and Loz were compassionate, warm hearted, and anticipated needs before we even had them. Paula has made it her personal mission to provide outstanding funeral services and this shines through in everything she does - from answering the phone at all hours of the day or night (yes, really!), to a warm embrace when you arrive at the shop, to the incredible attention to detail she puts into everything. Loz has a warmth which is a rare gift, a calmness which tells you nothing is too hard, and a sense of humour which makes you laugh even on the worst days. Not to say, she is adept at navigating a hearse in even the narrowest of lanes! Our babies rested safely, loved and treasured by Paula and Loz in the same way we would have done. “Thank you” will never be enough for what they’ve done 💚🤍💜🕊️

Upon hearing that my mother had passed away, I found myself in the unenviable position of being her only child close enough to get to her house where she lay. I had two small children at school who my wife and I needed to get back to. I made the decision to appoint R H Faulkner and daughter as funeral directors. They responded immediately, coming to the house and taking my mother into her care. I  was given valuable advice and information on how to proceed. Funeral arrangements were planned between myself, my sisters and Paula from R H Faulkner and daughter.  Although difficult at times due to family dynamics, Paula navigated this process with skill and dignity. On the day of the funeral, Paula acted with sheer distinction, grace and professionalism, removing any anxiety that my family felt. We can only give Paula and her team the highest of praise for my husbands funeral arrangements. Their attention to detail, personal touch, going the extra mile are only a few of the superlatives we can express about them. I would say they are second to none for how they treat their customers, in fact customers is the wrong word, they treat like a friend. They made a day that we were personally dreading into a day of celebration and joy for the man we all loved. For us as a family we had to instruct a funeral director before my mum had even past. From the very first phone call with Paula I instantly knew that we had made to right choice, and knew that mum would be looked after and treated with respect. Paula made the whole process so easy and she went out of way to make it stress free for us as a family, the support and kindness that she has shown us has been amazing. We will forever be grateful for the kindness and support shown by Paula and all the team. Every step of the way they did everything they could to help us, they went above and beyond many times and in many ways. We had a few difficult situations that were both trying and painful and Paula handled them with grace and care. Helping us to give our precious child the beautiful send off she deserved.
