The C J Williams Funeral Service of Telford is based at Fletcher House, Court Street, Madeley, Telford, and proudly serves the families of South Telford. The business was founded in 1880 by Simeon Higginson Breeze and has been serving the local community for over 150 years, building a reputation for the highest levels of service and care. Fletcher House in Madeley was developed under the vision of the late Christopher Williams, who passed away in 2013, as a dedicated Funeral Home for South Telford families.
Now run by Simon and Louise Williams, alongside their mother Carol and a dedicated team, the funeral service continues to uphold the values and ethos established by its founders. The company was invited in 2011 to join Selected Independent Funeral Homes, a prestigious organisation recognising the finest funeral homes worldwide, reflecting their commitment to excellence.
The Madeley branch offers a comprehensive range of funeral services including traditional funerals, natural funerals, direct cremation, and funeral services followed by unattended cremation. Additional services include live streaming, visual tributes, floral tributes, printed orders of service, repatriation, and funeral planning. Families are supported by highly trained and experienced staff who are available 24 hours a day.
