We would like to thank Co-op Funeralcare for the care and support shown to our family following the death of our Dad, Maurice John Martin, who passed away on 5 December 2025. His funeral took place at The Oaks, Havant, on 8 January 2026. From the very beginning, Lisa in the office was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, calm, and incredibly caring — everything she said and did was handled with genuine empathy at what was a very difficult time for us. Her support made a real difference and helped us feel looked after throughout the process. We would also like to thank the team on the day of the funeral. They were respectful, kind, and ensured everything ran smoothly. The only small hiccup was that the service started slightly earlier than planned, but this did not take away from the overall care and professionalism shown. Overall, we would highly recommend Co-op Funeralcare for their compassionate service and attention to detail. Thank you again to everyone involved. Marie Manley and family

The care & attention we received from Lisa at Southern Co-op Funeralcare Cowplain was second to none. At a time of our stress and emotion, Lisa’s gentle, calm and capable manner gave us the reassurance we needed. Our Mum’s funeral was handled with great care and attention and we are so grateful for that. Nothing was too much trouble and at all times our questions and need for guidance was met with empathy and understanding. We appreciate all the kindness and care shown to us and for Lisa’s patience at all times. Thank you so much.

Lisa Scott was our main contact at Coop Cowplain. We found her to be professional and efficient, whilst always maintaining a compassionate and warm attitude. On the day of the funeral, the staff were very attentive, efficient and professional. On the whole, we thought that the service provided by Coop Cowplain was very good and helped us through a difficult time with a minimum of fuss. For some reason, this app does not allow us to tick more than two stars. We think four and a half stars would be appropriate.

Very supportive and caring at a sensitive time. Kept us well informed of the process, and had a good range of options. There were no problems in coordinating with the South Downs Natural Burial Site, and the bearers coped admirably on the day, given the woodland conditions.Thank you for looking after my husband.

We were assisted by Lisa Scott at your Cowplain branch who dealt with our funeral requirements in an extremely professional, friendly and understanding manner which is just what you need at this difficult time. The funeral was held on 5th September 2025 and everything went exactly according to plan, fulfilling our wishes. I can't thank Lisa enough for her valued assistance throughout this process.
