"From start to finish they were fantastic with looking after my mum and helping me arrange everything, but also being there for comfort. I honestly could not have asked for anything better."
— Tanya R
"Carole showed dignity and decorum throughout and was just a phone call away if a problem arose — an asset to Fosters funeral services."
— robert wallace (about Carole)
"We asked Carole if we could have a few extras to give my dad a good send off — Carole went over and above. All we had to do was turn up on the day. I would recommend Fosters to anyone."
— Marion Mcquarrie (about Carole)
"Even when everything was completed and paid for Carol still showed compassion to us. We were updated by emails, phone calls or texts on a daily basis — nothing was a problem, nothing was rushed."
— Catherine Honeyman (about Carol)
"I lost my husband January 2022 and my daughter January 2023. I would never have thought I would have to deal with the loss of my daughter within the year of losing her dad. When I lost my daughter I had no hesitation in using Carol and her team as they are truly compassionate and helpful in making a difficult experience easier — nothing is too much for them."
— Alexandra Stevenson (about Carol)
"I don't know if it was part of an aftercare follow up, but I found out that she made some enquiries, on my mum's behalf, with local groups as to gaining permission for ashes to be scattered at Troon beach. This gave my mother, and her sisters, the opportunity to say goodbye on a more personal level."
— Niven Kyle (about Carole)

We recently used Fosters for my grandmother’s funeral. The initial plan was to visit a few of the local funeral director businesses, to feel which one was right for us. However, after visiting Fosters first, the decision was already made, prior to walking out of the door. We met with Carole, who led us into a beautifully decorated room, to informally go over the formalities involved with arranging a funeral. She listened to our ideas/concerns, answered our questions and gave us advice, built on years of experience, recounting examples of previous funerals and personal experiences. She priced up various funeral costs there and then, catering to individual needs/requests, and prior to final decisions being made. She recommended a very good celebrant and put us in touch with a fantastic florist. Most importantly though, she put our minds at ease, by putting my grandmother first. It was clear, from overhearing the phone call, that she had a good working relationship with the staff at the crematorium, and we, as a family, feel that she went above and beyond what was expected of her to give us, and our late grandmother, the best of days possible, in such sad circumstances. The drivers were punctual and polite, making the journey to the crematorium that little bit more bearable and our family were well attended to by all involved. Special thanks for returning some of the flower arrangements to the florist, who then turned them in to six individual bouquets (a very nice touch.) On a final note, I'd like to thank Carole individually again. I don't know if it was part of an aftercare follow up, but I found out that she made some enquiries, on my mum's behalf, with local groups as to gaining permission for ashes to be scattered at Troon beach (I didn't know that this was a thing.) This gave my mother, and her sisters, the opportunity to say goodbye on a more personal level. Thanks again

I lost my husband January 2022 and my daughter January 2023 I would never have thought I would have to deal with the loss of my daughter and within the year of losing her dad. I used Fosters in Kilmarnock for my husband as Carol and her dedicated team carried out our wishes, which included taking my husband one last time to his place of employment. When I lost my daughter I had no hesitation in using Carol and her team as they are truly compassionate and helpful in making a difficult experience easier nothing is too much for them can’t thank them enough

We lost our dad on 23rd January my dad had a pre payment plan when we contacted fosters everything was in place. Carole contacted us to have a meeting when we arrived at the parlour in kilmanock we were so welcome and made so at ease that really made a difference to us. We as carole if we could have a few extras to give my dad a good send off carole went over and beyond we can't thank her enough. On the day of the funeral the staff was outstanding my dad got the best send off he deserved by carole and her team all we had to do was to turn up on the day I would recommend fosters to anyone. Thank you once again carole and all your staff
